First - its about YOU. This means that you have to have the focus, the work ethic and you have to be prepared to learn the skills that you need for your home business. And you have to keep learning. Your personal development never stops.
Second its about what you do with your time. You can be the best in the world at what you do. But if you take 24 hrs to do what should take you 10 mins. You'll never succeed in a home business environment.
So your time management is critical. You need to know what time you have. And what you must cover in this time to make your home business a success.
As a suggestion (some home businesses may be different - these work brilliantly for anything network marketing related or online) the things you want to spend your time on are:
- Marketing
- Responding to your leads
- Personal development
- Following up and converting your leads
And that's it. Insiders know there's no desk tidying in this list. No general admin, checking of emails or surfing of the net.
